Sleeping Beauty Ceramic Figures

Guest Blogger: Nick Maglio

A friend gave my wife and me several ceramic bisque figurines that had belonged to her mother.

These are of Princess Aurora, who by the time she meets Prince Philip is now Briar Rose, and who will eventually be Sleeping Beauty.

They are 6 1/4″ tall

We aren’t sure where they were purchased, but they originally sold for $12.99. Searching online, they are supposedly hard to find.

Made in Japan

It’s wonderful to have these in my collection now!

Thank you! I'm constantly scouring for great Disney finds!

  3. Very cool figures. Sleeping Beauty is my 2nd favorite Disney film too. Betcha can't guess my number one. 😉

I like how you shot the figures out amongst the plants and earth. Nice touch.

  4. I love that they still have the original price tags on them! This is always a plus when collecting, I think.

But, Courtney, what a find! 50 cents, good for you!

I have that Maleficent figure! Picked it up for 50 cents at a local thrift store 🙂 The Aurora figure is great.

Maleficent is maybe the best Disney villain. She turned herself into a dragon. A green fire spewing dragon!

  7. Ooh, I'm so jealous. Sleeping Beauty is my second favorite Disney film, but Maleficent and Aurora are my favorite villain and princess, respectively!
