Palm Tree over the Weeki Wachee River

I love roadside attractions, and Weeki Wachee Springs is really a great one! It’s old and somewhat tacky but a lot of fun none the less.

You can take a cruise down the Weeki Wachee river to see native Floridian wildlife and maybe a manatee, if you’re lucky. We weren’t. But we did see a lot of natural foliage unique to the Florida wetlands. Like this:

Leaning Tree

While on our cruise, we had to pass right underneath this leaning palm tree. We had to wonder just how much longer it could defy gravity!

I like this shot because of the angle of the subject, which stands in sharp contrast to the rest of the (normal) trees.
