Mickey’s ear at the Contemporary Resort is certainly hard to miss! Are the ears of Mickey Mouse the most iconic in the world? Maybe second only to Evander Holyfield’s nibbled appendage, perhaps. I guess it’s subjective.
But I think we all can agree that this image of half of the famous Hidden Mickey motif makes for a better photograph than a boxers battle scars:
Dusk is always a beautiful but challenging time to take a photograph. Especially with such a large light source flooding the frame. It did make for an interesting contrast between the mostly black framework of the Contemporary’s structure and the artificial lights.
I also liked the round shapes against the strong angular gridwork of the background.
